Colposcopy of the Cervix and Vagina

A colposcopy is a procedure to examine the vagina and cervix using a magnifying instrument called a colposcope. It's often done if there are abnormal Pap smear results or other concerns about the cervix. It helps to diagnose conditions like cervical cancer or precancerous changes. Tissue sample may be taken for any abnormalities that are visualized.
